受WCE世界咖啡協會委託,2016年於上海舉辦的世界咖啡競賽,与熊團隊在logo上利用現代元素與中國傳統美學相結合,從窗花、明朝椅子上找到東方的線條構成”上海”的標示,與摩登的視覺相融合。視覺上利用水墨呈現咖啡藝術,依著上海燈火絢爛的意象,以鮮豔色彩與當代的構圖手法貫穿整個賽場:
杯測比賽:水墨渲染出一杯又一杯的咖啡排列。
烘豆大賽:熱度與旋轉的視覺。
拉花大賽與調酒大賽:墨水染出拉花的型態、酒與咖啡交融的影像。
With the inquiry of WCE, the world coffee contest in Shanghai in March 2016 was competing for the related exhibition visual design productions. The four types of contest were coffee cupping, coffee roasting, latte art and bartending.
Using Eastern ink style to convey the design concept of coffee art and using the illustration style of present time with color scheme of magnificent life in Shanghai through stand out colors, the venue’s design adjusted the visual effect depending on the types of contest. The coffee cupping’s visual effect was using ink to spread out sequence of coffee cup by cup. Coffee roasting showed the heat and circulation with ink. Latte art and bartending contest used ink to reveal a round shape of latte art with combined background of wine and coffee. The design made the coffee contest’s venue full of rich coffee scent both in sights and smells.
